Life is busy, and you need relief fast.
Needle-free testing that gets to the bottom of your pet and indoor allergies
Allergies don’t always start outdoors—many of the most persistent symptoms begin at home. Pet dander, dust mites, mold, and household allergens can trigger congestion, red eyes, itchy skin, and even asthma. These reactions occur when your immune system mistakenly identifies something harmless—like your cat’s fur—as a threat. At Premier Allergy & Asthma, we help you pinpoint the source of your discomfort and create a plan that gives you real, lasting relief. With non-invasive testing and customized immunotherapy, you can live comfortably with the pets and spaces you love.

Frequently asked questions
It can be hard to tell since symptoms often overlap. The best way to know is through allergy testing. We’ll ask detailed questions about your environment and use skin testing to help identify whether your symptoms are caused by pet dander, dust, mold, or another indoor allergen. Understanding the exact cause is key to building an effective treatment plan.
While severe allergies may require lifestyle adjustments, many of our patients manage their symptoms effectively while keeping their pets. Immunotherapy, medication, and home adjustments (like keeping pets out of the bedroom and using air purifiers) can make a big difference in comfort. We’ll work with you to find a plan that keeps you—and your furry friend—together.
Scratch and patch tests are simple, effective ways to identify the allergens causing your symptoms—without painful needles or bloodwork. A scratch test involves placing a small amount of suspected allergens on your skin (usually the forearm) and gently pricking the surface. If you’re allergic, a small bump or redness will appear within 15–20 minutes. A patch test, on the other hand, places small patches containing allergens on your back or arm, which you’ll wear for 48 hours. When you return to our office, we’ll check for skin reactions like bumps or irritation to pinpoint your specific triggers.
