Columbus Allergist – Dr. Summit Shah
Dr. Summit Shah, MD was born and raised in Ohio and now proudly serves the same community as a Columbus allergist. He graduated valedictorian from Bishop Watterson High School, Class of 1998. He completed his Bachelors with Honors from The Ohio State University. An avid Buckeyes fan who didn’t want to give up his season football tickets, he joined The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where he obtained his MD.
Dr. Shah completed his residency in Boston, MA and fellowship at the prestigious Scripps Clinic in San Diego, CA. He has trained under the world-leaders in allergy and immunology, and specializes in treating adult and pediatric allergic diseases such as asthma, hayfever, sinus disease, venom allergy, drug allergy and more. He leads the Ohio market in offering accelerated allergy shots, known as “Rush IT” and has a particular interest in pediatric food allergies and eczema.
Dr. Shah is an active staff member in the Allergy department at Riverside Hospital, Dublin Methodist Hospital, Mt Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital and Nationwide Childrens’ Hospital.
While Dr. Shah is a committed and trusted Columbus allergist, and his practice at Premier Allergy is nothing to sneeze at, he also enjoys cheering on the Buckeyes, golfing, and scuba diving. Dr Shah resides in Columbus with his wife, who is a graduate of Dublin Coffman high school and the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. They just had their first daughter, Saanvi Shah, this past June.
